Official Green Barn Public Opening

Thanks to all who joined us for a fun afternoon of activities and food at the official opening of The Stop’s Green Barn. The event was well-attended and the food delicious. After the official speeches were done, we took the oppportunity to recognise long-time employee Rhonda Teitel-Payne who is celebrating 10 years with The Stop. The opening of The Green Barn is a major accomplishment for The Stop and further supports our mission of increasing access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds comunity and challenges inequality.

Special thanks to Bernardin who provided everyone with a re-useable shopping bag, to the chefs from Amuse Bouche for their delicious rice pudding, and, last but not least, to Cave Springs Winery.
