Gifts That Matter is back!
When you make a $35 donation to our Gifts That Matter campaign, you’ll receive a beautiful card to send to someone on your seasonal shopping list and show your shared support for good food for all.
Your $35 gift will help bring people together this holiday season through the power of good food. Whether dining in our Drop-in, visiting our healthy Food Bank, or cooking together in one of our Community Kitchens, our neighbours deeply appreciate The Stop’s warm and welcoming programs during the winter months. For so many, a meal in our Drop-in is the only time that they will share a table with others during the holiday season
Gifts That Matter will be sold at The Stop’s Farmers’ Market this Saturday, December 23rd. You can also purchase your cards directly from The Stop at our 1884 Davenport location. Please contact Tasha at 416-652-7867 ext. 225 or firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange pick-up.
Every year, we feature a new card designed specifically for the campaign. For 2017, illustrator Flo Leung has created a festive bundle of herbs—parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme—to commemorate the season and recognize that The Stop increases access to local and seasonal healthy food throughout the year.
You will receive a full tax receipt for your Gifts That Matter donations.
Gifts that Matter was profiled in a 2015 segment of Global News with Susan Hay. Click to watch the program’s impact in action.
