Food Leadership for Youth (FLY)

FLY is a cooking and wellness program for high-school girls.

Cook tasty recipes, garden, learn new skills, make new friends, earn volunteer hours, gain leadership skills, and discover hidden talents.

All you need to bring is your enthusiasm, your willingness to learn, an adventurous spirit, and your commitment! All skill levels are welcome, and the program is FREE.
 
Where? The Stop's Green Barn, 601 Christie Street
When? Wednesdays, 4:30PM - 6:30PM, October 15th to December 17th

Kids' Cooking Club Series
for children ages 8 to 12 years
 
Register your child for hands-on cooking and growing activities and workshops!
 
Participants will have an opportunity to:
  • Learn to cook simple, delicious healthy snacks and meals;
  • Learn about local healthy food, the environment, and food systems;
  • Go on a sensory garden tasting tour;
  • Grow and harvest food plants.

Where? The Stop's Green Barn, 601 Christie Street
When? Wednesdays, 3:45PM - 6:15PM, starting January 28, 2015, for six weeks

This is a free program for families that identify as low income. Registration is required and spaces are limited, so please contact us soon as possible!
