Spezzatino
Each year, Spezzatino Magazine hosts 100 of the most food-loving people in Toronto at the Potluck of Meaning. The idea is simple: share a sample of the meal that means the most to you; your grandma’s chocolate cake, for example, or a dish you picked up on your travels. Anything that has a story behind it qualifies. The best part? Tasting all the deliciousness brought by others, and raising thousands of dollars to fight hunger! At the end of the event, Spezzatino presented all the proceeds — and a hefty $15,000 novelty-sized cheque — to The Stop!
